Target Audience

Students and faculty in health-related fields and community members are welcome to attend.

Primary Goal

To convene RCMI investigators with biospecimen repositories under development, and experts in technical assistance, ethical, legal and social issues (e.g. informed consent), informatics, and dissemination/outreach, to promote cross-disciplinary learning and enhance capacity of the RMATRIX Hawaii Biospecimen Repository (HiBR).

Summit Activities

  • Orientation to biorepositories from a biomedical, cultural and historical perspective and panel discussion;

  • Opportunities to network and learn from other researchers, clinicians, community members, and individuals from the RCMI community.
